Marlon Wayans has recently made headlines for a paternity lawsuit involving a one-year-old daughter.
According to HotNewHipHop, the actor addressed the issue on The Shade Room.
“It’s the classic case of a good, loving, responsible father shelling out over $18,000 per month for a one-year-old, and an entitled woman decides she wants more. My mama and dem would’ve lost their minds for $2,000.”
Marlon was exasperated with the demands placed on him, especially compared to his familial values and upbringing.
The actor cited his prior fatherhood experiences and tireless devotion to his kids’ wellbeing.

Marlon Wayans’ baby mama insists that he earns $200K monthly and should have no trouble paying child support.
“All these women having to drag men to court who pay NOTHING towards their children. And here, a woman gets a doctor’s salary and says it isn’t enough? I’ve had two children before this. I’ve never had this problem. I’m a good man with a good heart and strong sense of responsibility, but I refuse to be used and discredited.”
The actor revealed his refusal to cower from the situation and maintain his integrity.
He also wants to protect his daughter’s best interests, which is why he kept them off social media.
Marlon’s remarks shed light on paternity disputes’ legal and personal complexities.

What the suit says
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Moreland filed a petition to establish the White Chicks star as the father to her 1-year-old, Axl July Ivory Wayans.
The filing revealed Moreland asked for primary physical and legal custody of the one-year-old — and suggested Wayans be awarded visitation rights.
In addition, Moreland asked that her legal fees and “reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth” be paid by the actor.
In court documents, Wayan’s alleged baby mama revealed her monthly expenses total $21,000.
In a breakdown of her living and child care costs, Moreland estimated she spends $5,000 per month on rent and $9,000 on child care, groceries, and other necessities.
