In her first television interview, Megan Thee Stallion will sit down with Gayle King to address the 2020 shooting allegedly involving rapper Tory Lanez.
During the clip shared by “CBS Mornings” Megan explained to Gayle why the argument started.
“It was an argument because I was ready to go and everyone else wasn’t ready to go. But that’s like normal friend stuff.
We fuss about silly stuff all the time.
But I never put my hands on anybody. I never raised my voice too loud. This was one of those times it shouldn’t have got this crazy.”
She then explained what happened outside of the car from her perspective.
“So I get out of the car and everything happens so fast. All I hear is this man screaming, he said ‘Dance Bi***’ and he started shooting.
And I’m just like omg he shot a couple of times.
And I was so scared.” She then goes on to say that Tory was standing up and shooting over the window.
“I didn’t want to move, I didn’t want to move too quick because if I take the wrong step I don’t know if he would shoot something that’s super important or he could shoot me and kill me.
I was really scared because I have never been shot at before.”
