It’s the first Monday in May, and according to PEOPLE it is fashion’s biggest night.
The 2024 Met Gala is being held on Monday, May 6 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and a slew of Hollywood’s biggest names are already walking the steps.
We have already shared the theme in this post, which is is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with a dress code of “The Garden of Time.”
This year’s event is being co-chaired by Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya and Bad Bunny. As always, Vogue’s Anna Wintour is at the helm at the Costume Institute benefit.

Tyla
Tyla wore a Balmain dress that was as fragile as sand. A literal art piece!
The theme — should the stars choose to follow it — is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” The corresponding Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute exhibit is “very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” curator Andrew Bolton has said — meaning we can anticipate some moody florals on the carpet.
