The founder and CEO, Gabriel Whaley, used to work at Buzzfeed, so they know a thing or two about making things that go viral.
When they announced the Big Red Boots, the internet lit up.
MSCHF made the books cartoonish to resemble the shoes worn by animated icons like Dora The Explorer and Astro Boy.
In a press release, the brand announced they made the boots from EVA foam and TPUrubber shell.
They called the boots “Cartoon boots for a Cool 3D World.”
