On Friday Takeoff was remembered in Atlanta by his family, his friends, and his fans in a star-studded celebration of life ceremony.
According to Page six, his funeral was held at the State Farm Arena, which has a capacity of 21,000 people.

Justin Bieber, who was rumored to perform at the funeral, was reportedly present along with Quavo, Offset and Chloe Bailey.
According to a press release sent prior to the gathering, there was a “strict no photo and no video policy” inside of the venue.
However, one guest managed to snag a video of Drake giving a speech from inside the memorial and posted it on Twitter.
The “One Dance” rapper, 36, can be heard saying how he “loved” when Takeoff would remove his shades and squint his eyes while simultaneously having them wide open.

In the press release, Takeoff’s family also asked that in lieu of flowers or gifts, all attendees donate to the Rocket Foundation, which supports community-based programs that help prevent gun violence.
According to AtlantaDaily Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens spoke about Takeoff’s impact on the city’s thriving music culture and presented his family with the prestigious Phoenix Award, the City of Atlanta’s highest award.
Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot dead at age 28 at a bowling alley in Houston on Nov. 1.
There have not been any arrests made, but police said in a press conference last week that they “want to find justice” and asked the public to aid in their investigation.
