Sam Asghari is literally “Holding It Against” Brittney.
According to Page Six, the 29-year-old Iranian-American model allegedly threatens to release “extraordinarily embarrassing” information about Brittney Spears if she does not agree to renegotiate their prenup.
A source close to the couple told the news outlet Wednesday that Asghari is looking to have Brittney pay him more than what their prenup provides in order to keep the pop princess’ secrets.
The insider sniffs, “So that’s what Sam is focused on.”
It’s unclear how much money Asghari wants or whether the existing prenup permits the disclosure of contentious information.
Representatives for both parties have not returned the requests for comment.
However, a separate source says that Brittney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor, wouldn’t let anyone extort the Piece Of Me singer. The team has “protected” Brittney, and “parting will be respectful.”
“It’s blackmail, and it’ll never happen,” the insider tells Page Six.
Brittney has a reported net worth of $70 million, much of which has been spent on legal fees and child support to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45.
The exes split in 2006 and share sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.
Kevin currently has full custody of the boys.
As reported earlier, an exclusive with TMZ confirmed Wednesday (August 16) that Asghari and Brittney have separated after a “nuclear argument” that saw the Family Business actor confront his wife over rumors she stepped out on him.
No one knows if the rumors have any basis, but sources say Asghari believed them and that the two had a huge fight.
Sources also claim the international model has moved out of their home and is now living in his own place.
As one insider said, “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
The pair wed in June and had been together since 2016.
