Sexyy Red has dissed Au Vodka less than a week after starring in an ad for its latest strawberry flavor.
According to Complex, the St. Louis rapper dissed the company for its vodka and urged her fans to avoid buying it.
“Fawk @auvodka don’t buy that nasty ass shit. Iont drink anyway. Thanks for dem buckas doe suckas. Dat sht nasty asf yal on god I had my friends taste it!”
What Caused Sexyy Red To Slam Au Vodka?
Earlier this week, Redd appeared in a new ad for the brand.
The brand wrote on its website:
“We decided there was no better ambassador to launch our newest, red colored vodka Strawberry Burst with.”
The brand added that the launch is already the highest-grossing in its history, along as “its first truly global release.”
“The record breaking launch is far from finished however, as Sexxy Redd is set to take Strawberry Burst and Au Vodka to new heights!”
With apparent goodwill from the brand, it’s not clear what made the rapper slam it.
But based on Red’s rant, it won’t be surprising if they drop her and get a new global ambassador.
