In June 2023, the duo shared their excitement for the launch of their cereal brand, stressing the importance of having Black-owned businesses in the cereal space.
“We also the first Black-owned cereal company. This has been going on for over a hundred years that we’ve been consumers and never owners. So, we’re changing that game.” Master P
According to the lawsuit, POST offered to buy out the cereal, but the duo flat-out refused to sell.
When asked why Snoop Cereal wasn’t in shelves, Walmart staff claimed their stores were out of stock, despite having them in the back rooms.

That’s unfortunate. #SnoopCereal deserves fair treatment and proper placement on the shelves.
