SZA has good days on her mind and might kill an ex in her dreamy new music video.
After teasing it earlier this week, the singer, 33, dropped the video for her SOS song “Snooze” on Friday.
In the video, helmed by Bradley J. Calder and co-authored by Calder and SZA (Real name Solána Rowe), the R&B sensation experiences a series of fleeting romances with different partners, among them Justin Bieber, producer and SZA’s creative partner Benny Blanco, as well as actors Young Mazino and Woody McClain.
The dreamy music video for the enchanting R&B track portrays different relationships with an optimistic lens, capturing the euphoric moments of these connections.
Scenes range from intimate moments in bed with 29-year-old Bieber to 35-year-old Blanco playfully indulging in French fries off her body.
However, as time progresses, these once-blissful flings take a bitter turn.
The “Kill Bill” artist is depicted engaging in arguments with each of her partners, addressing issues of neglect and indiscretions.
The video then takes a sci-fi twist as the Grammy winner continues crooning the intimate verses, “I can’t lose when I’m with you / How can I snooze and miss the moment? / You just too important / Nobody do body like you do.”
Following “Snooze” is also a stunning clip of SZA and her beau during the golden hour while an unreleased track plays. “Diamond boy, why you so shiny?” she sings on the song, which was previously previewed on her Instagram.
