Tamar Braxton took to Twitter to give her opinion on the DaniLeigh and Dababy situation that took place late sunday night and all day Monday.
She shared that typically she would mind her business, but she cannot act as if the entire thing didn’t trigger her.
She cont’d – I for sure try and stay out of people business..but when you are publicly humiliated like that, AND they LYING..it hits different.
I’m praying for everyone who knows what that feels like. that bounce back is serious tho
I’m not going to act like as a woman I was triggered yesterday.I for sure try and stay out of people business..but when you are publicly humiliated like that, AND they LYING..it hits different. I’m praying for everyone who know what that feels like.that bounce back is serious tho

Her tweet lead to another discussion about the entire situation.
“Women need to be accountable” “women need to have self love” YALL DO KNOW THAT ALL OF THAT IS *LEARNED* RIGHT?Most women who are accountable, made mistakes FIRST.Most women who have achieved self love, once did not have it! Y’all say this while they are IN the learning season.

While I do agreed that it’s learned , Some women do not learn and fall for the same ish over and over that’s why it’s important to continue to put that in our heads that self love is 1st

A few people took the opportunity to remind her about Dani’s past treatment of black women, one user saying:
We’re you triggered when Dani was calling black women monkeys and dogging a BLACK woman? Making a colorist song saying that dababy wants her because of his European standards and self hate (light skin)? I didn’t see celebrities making post about that.

That part !! I do not feel sympathy for Mayo packets who allow Black Men to disrespect BW and think they’re superior when it’s their turn to date them and he does the same to them.

It is very obvious that the reason Dani and Dababy’s public argument had such an impact is that many can identify with it.
There are a few of us who have dealt with similar real-life situations.
