Amidst the swirling allegations from previous dancers about inappropriate behavior and subpar working conditions, Lizzo’s current dance team is standing firmly with her.
On Thursday, Lizzo’s Big Grrrl and Big Boiii dancers took to their official Instagram to praise the artist.
According to People, their heartfelt message reminisced about the unforgettable moments they shared during The Special Tour.
They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform alongside such a gifted artist.

“This tour experience has been beyond just #Special! The commitment to character and culture taking precedence over every movement and moment has been one of the Greatest lessons and Blessings that we could possibly ask for.”
They accompanied the message with photos and videos from the tour, capturing both onstage magic and candid backstage moments.
The dancers also penned a direct thank-you to Lizzo.
“THANK YOU to Lizzo for shattering limitations and kicking in the doorway for the Big Grrrl & Big Boiii Dancers to do what we love! You have created a platform where we have been able to parallel our Passion with a purpose! Not only for Us, but for Women and All people breaking Barriers.”
The post concluded with a sign-off, “With love, the Big Grrrls & Big Boiiis.”
This show of support follows a recent incident where Beyoncé, during her Renaissance World Tour, gave a shout out to the artist.
In a moment that has since gone viral, Beyoncé was captured exclaiming, “Lizzo! I adore you, Lizzo!” during her performance.
Interestingly, Beyoncé initially left out the singer’s name from a segment of her song where she mentions various legendary artists.
Currently, Lizzo, her production entity Big Grrrl Big Touring, and dance lead Shirlene Quigley are navigating a lawsuit from three former dancers.
Two dancers, Crystal Williams, and Arianna Davis, allege the singer fired them unjustly.
Meanwhile, Noelle Rodriguez stepped down in solidarity against their dismissals.
Her dancers know what she’s really like and they aren’t going to allow the media to portray her as an evil lady. We love you lizzo!!
