Tia Mowry is stepping into her power – into a new First Chapter.
On Monday (Oct 12), the ‘Family Reunion’ actress shared a picture and message of thanks to her fans for the “outpouring love” she received after announcing she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, were going their separate ways.
“Every book starts with a dedication page, and this one’s dedicated to you: my friends, family, and community,” she captioned on an Instagram post.
“The outpouring of love I received from you over the last week has been so encouraging and humbling. I’m so grateful to you all,” she continued.
“New Book, First Chapter to follow. Love, Tia”

As previously reported, Tia filed for divorce on Oct 4 due to “irreconcilable differences,” but she and Cory seem to be on excellent terms as he commented a red heart and sparkle emoji on her post.
After 14 years of marriage, the ‘Twitches’ star announced, on an emotional Instagram post, that the two had called it quits.
“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the 44-year-old wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of her and Cory.
“These decisions are never easy and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children,” Tia continued, adding that she is grateful for the 22 years of bliss together.

Per Page Six reports (based on obtained court documents), the ‘The Game’ star asked the judge for joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, 4. She also asked for the termination of spousal support and noted that the ex-couple had a Prenup in place.
While the ‘All American: Homecoming’ actor, 42, has not addressed the divorce publicly, he did take to social media to shut down cheating claims after one social media user speculated that he cheated on Tia. Cory replied with a simple, “Lies!”
Mowry and Hardrict met while filming Hollywood Horror in 2000. After six years in a relationship, the two got engaged on Christmas Day and tied the knot in 2008.
