Wash And Go Like A Pro – Complete Routine For Coily Hair

I love an awesome wash and go video and this one is a great one. Whitney never disappoints and since it is wash and go season this tutorial is right on time!

I am a fan of the “shrunken wash and go” because it’s super cute and if you want to rock a short fro for a minute then you can do it without any scissors involved.

How she did it?
1. Section hair into workable sections
2. Cleanse each section with a gentle cleanser – Always put products on clean hair
3. Detangle with fingers only
4. Condition and add oil in the shower
5. Use styler for each section

The trick to a dope moisturized wash and go is doing everything in the shower, I know that sounds strange but it really does work, just move fast so you aren’t wasting water.

In the video Whitney uses a number of products from Sephora, which you can also get on Amazon a little bit cheaper, I added the links so that you can check around or cheaper deals.

DevaCurl SuperCream
DevaCurl No Poo Decadence
DevaCurl One Condition Decadence
Madam CJ Walker Jamaican Black Castor Oil
Bumble & Bumble Anti-Humidity Gel Oil
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

Some other tricks that I will be utilizing from this video include the little hairpin trick to elongate the areas of my hair I want to appear longer.

Additionally, banding can help to keep the wash and go shape in your hair as well as avoid matting and smashing your curls when you sleep.
