Hey, we’re all about the strappy sandal and slide life as much as the next person, but let’s be real – they do no favors to the state of our feet and heels.
If your feet have been looking a bit haggard lately, you’ve come to the right place. We hit up our favorite beauty expert, Olivia, and she shared some of her best tips and go-to products for getting and maintaining soft feet this summer.
Hint: None of it involves having a bank-breaking pedicure.

Gilden Tree Terracotta Pumice Stone For Soft Feet, $7.54
We get it. Pumice stones aren’t the sexiest beauty products, but they’re every skincare enthusiast’s secret weapon for getting baby-soft feet.
This one from Amazon features a rough side to buff away dead skin cells and an easy-to-use, non-slip grip handle but with two sides geared for gentle and deep exfoliation.
All-Natural Exfoliating Body Stone, $27
If you’re not sold on that pumice stone life, you can never go wrong with this natural Arizona soft feet exfoliator. It’s the perfect entryway to buff away dead skin cells and is ideal for anyone with softer feet but needs just a little bit of exfoliation.
To use it, wet it a bit and scrub it on the bottom of the feet, allowing mink oil to penetrate deeper to reveal the softest feet for summer.
Pair it with your favorite foot treatment, and you’ll never look back.
Soap & Glory Heel Genius Moisturizing Foot Cream, $10
For baby-soft feet, take a shower, wipe your feet dry, apply this Soap & Glory Foot Cream, and then slip into cotton socks and leave on for 60 to 90 minutes (aka one episode of Love Is Blind) or the time it takes Olivia to go for a walk or run errands.
The AHAs will work their magic, hydrating your feet while the fruit acids help with the exfoliation, leaving your skin feeling refreshed, super-smooth, and beautiful.
Topping it off is a fresh and delicate scent, everything your tootsies have been craving!
Walgreens Beauty Pumice Stone Sponge, $9 or $3.99
This is hands down one of the best remedies for softening your feet and heels. All you have to do is briefly soak your feet in warm, sudsy water. Wet the pumice stone and rub the rough areas away in a circular motion, applying little pressure.
Rinse the stone after use to get rid of residue.
Modern Expressions Exfoliate & Smooth Foot Treatment, $6
If your soles have been feeling like sandpaper, this soft feet treatment is enriched with glycolic acid and green tea extract that helps exfoliate and rid your feet of dead skin cells to reveal the smoothest and softest feet. Your feet will basically shed like a snake.
To Use It: Wash your feet with soap and water. Towel dry and then slip each foot into the bootie, tightening around and securing with a sticky tab. Leave the booties on for 45 to 60 minutes.
Ensure that socks are layered over to make walking easier. Remove the booties and then wash your feet with warm water to reveal incredibly soft feet.
