According to Billboard at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night (April 1), TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins graced the stage with a performance of their greatest hits.
To honor their late bandmate Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, they enlisted the help of none other than Latto.
Peso Pluma and GloRilla introduced TLC as the best-selling American girl group of all time, setting the stage for a nostalgic journey through their iconic discography.
Their setlist included two chart-topping hits: the 1999 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “No Scrubs” and the 1995 seven-week Hot 100 topper “Waterfalls.”
During the latter song, when it came to Left Eye’s famous rap verse, Latto joined T-Boz and Chilli on stage to deliver a memorable performance.
Despite being born in December 1998, Latto effortlessly took on the rap verse, showcasing her talent and paying homage to TLC’s legacy.

Since the tragic loss of Lopes in a car crash in 2002, TLC has continued as a duo, opting not to replace their beloved bandmate.
Their resilience and enduring success were recognized with the iHeartRadio Landmark Awards, honoring their three-decade-long career filled with radio airplay hits.
The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards featured an array of performances from artists like Justin Timberlake, Green Day, host Ludacris, Tate McRae, and a musical tribute to Cher.
Taylor Swift also had a notable night, winning artist of the year and two other awards, expressing her gratitude to fans in a heartfelt video message.
