When actors continue to keep jobs its cause for a celebration! According to The Hollywood Reporter ABC has committed to keeping the heart-pounding drama of 911 alive for another season.
The network has officially renewed 911 for the 2024-25 season, signaling its second year on ABC and eighth season overall.
Produced by Disney’s 20th Television, Ryan Murphy Television, and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, the series made its transition from Fox to ABC this season.
The renewal news coincides with the upcoming milestone of 911’s 100th episode.
911 has continued its reign as a ratings powerhouse, maintaining its status as the top-rated drama both on Fox in previous seasons and now on ABC.
The strike-shortened seventh season has seen impressive numbers, with the show averaging 5.29 million same-day viewers in its first three episodes, a notable increase from the previous season’s average of 4.7 million viewers.
The season premiere on March 14 saw a significant surge in viewership, more than doubling its initial audience with a week of streaming and delayed viewing, soaring from 4.93 million to 11.76 million viewers.
ABC has also highlighted that 911 stands as the network’s most-watched current series across all platforms for this season.
The drama stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Oliver Stark, Kenneth Choi, Aisha Hinds, Ryan Guzman and Gavin McHugh.
Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear created the series, with Minear serving as showrunner.
They executive produce with Bassett, Krause, John J. Gray, Brad Buecker, Kristen Reidel, Juan Carlos Coto and Lyndsey Beaulieu.

and
im not used to 911 getting renewed so quickly i still remember when s5 ended and we only found out like an hour before 5×18 aired that it won’t be the last episode we see. 911 was literally the ONLY fox show who hadn’t been cancelled or renewed back then. it was so bad ????

and
It's 2032. 911 just got renewed for s15. Buck & Eddie were found eyefucking beneath the strands of their gray hair, after they broke up with their 1743th LIs. Couch theory is realer than ever. All of us are still here, delusional asf & fully believing it'll happen this time.
