Popular hairstylist Arrogant Tae is not apologizing for his prices.
He gave a $1,600 wig install–however, the astronomical price doesn’t even cover the wig itself.
According to The Shade Room, one of Tay’s clients–Ajatayah Rose–shared a montage video on TikTok of him slaying her hair.

She titled the video “POV: Arrogant Tae is your stylist,” and captioned it:
“Yes it was $1,600, no the wig was not included lmaoooo.”
She concluded the video by claiming she “[loves] her hair.”
The 20-second video showcased Ajatayah going to the salon, Tae installing the cap, then blow drying and curling the wig.
Then, the two took a selfie video.
The video has gone viral, being viewed more than 100,000 times.
So, people naturally have had a lot to say about the video.

Despite the criticism of his prices, Arrogant Tae is living up to his name by clapping back at anyone who criticizes him.
He set the record straight on Instagram, telling folk that having him touch your scalp is an experience in itself.
Tae also defended his “top tier” technique and insisted that he “correctly” secured the wig.
The hairstylist then insisted that he enjoys making women feel beautiful and dared critics to experience his styling for themselves.
In his caption, Tae proudly stated that there’s nobody like him.
“Most ppl post shit cause it look good FOR THE MOMENT! Bt ME/MY WORK , IM LASTING! N my wigs ain’t just getting snatched completely off! My technique so strong , it ain’t going nowhere! N plus I’m an artist! I CREATE!! Been doing hair since I was 12 years old! N wigs for 7 years!!! N I hate to brag BT there is nobody like me! NOBODY‼️ &. don’t get me wrong it’s some bomb ass stylist that are good asf bt NOT TAE!”
Arrogant Tae charging $1600 is not absurd. You’re just not his market. And it’s as simple as that. It could definitely be a lot more considering his clientele.
