In a CBS morning, exclusive Azriel Clary who was a minor when she met R.Kelly sits down with Gayle King again admitting this time that she was coached and dishonest the first time she met with Gayle.
She said R. Kelly coached her on what to say, and they rehearsed her lines over and over prior to the interview that was done with Gayle in March 2019.
Back in March 2019
Azriel Clary, 21, and Joycelyn Savage, 23, told “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King they love Kelly even though their families claim he has brainwashed them.
The women said there is nothing inappropriate about their relationship with the 52-year-old.
Kelly snuck into the room while the interview was in process, despite his team agreeing he would not be present.
“What is your relationship, both of you, with R. Kelly?” King asked.
“We’re with him, that’s our relationship,” Clary said.

Today Azriel is singing a different tune.
On Wednesday she told Gayle King that R. Kelly coached her and he was very happy with her ‘performance’ at the interview.
So happy he wanted to celebrate.
According to CBS:
“I know that he knows he’s guilty,” Azriel Clary told “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King.
“People told him. People tried to warn him. People tried to help him,” she added. “He didn’t care […] He was selfish.
He was greedy. He was a pedophile […] And he never, not once, wanted to get help,”
Clary said assistants would tell Kelly that “these people are minors. You can’t be flying these people in.
I don’t know what you’re doing with them, but —”
Kelly, she said, responded: “Mind your business. You’re fined or you’re fired.”
“That’s the only options that he would give people that worked for him,” she said.
“And I feel like it’s very disturbing for him to sit and think that he is still innocent when he knows of all the trauma that he’s put us through.”
Clary testified during Kelly’s trial that her relationship with Kelly was abusive.
Kelly, who she began a relationship with when she was 17, sexually and physically abused her, including coercing her into having an abortion, she said.
Azriel is currently in therapy.
