Beyonce’s new track, “TEXAS HOLD’ EM,” is a bonafide hit.
The country song has hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as of March 2.
According to HotNewHipHop, this becomes the electrifying singer’s ninth solo No. 1 track after debuting at No. 2 last week.
Queen Bey has also become the first Black woman in history to rise to the top of the Hot 100 with a country track.
Along with her other new country single, “16 CARRIAGES,” the singer has shifted her style significantly–and she’s winning.
Beyonce’s Upcoming Album Promises To Be A Banger
The singer’s upcoming album, ACT II, will drop on March 29.
And with the anticipation around her new tracks–TEXAS HOLD ‘EM got 29 million streams this week alone–the album promises to be another mega-hit for the singer.
However, Beyonce’s milestone comes at a sad time for the singer.
Tina Knowles recently divulged that the singer’s uncle, Rowland Martin Buyince, passed on at 77.
“My Beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend. I will miss him so much !
