On Twitter she shared her latest hair recipe!
My last 2 washes I been boiling onions and using the water to wash my hair.I used to do this 6 years ago when I started my healthy hair growth journey.I stopped cause I got really lazy. Its odorless and I notice that it’s been giving a shine to my hair.

One fan did not appreciate Cardi’s news, and called her out on using food to ‘cook’ her hair, saying ‘genetics’ is what has helped her growth.
Cardi responded to the now deleted tweet, saying it’s more about, time, dedication and discipline.
NO it’s time, dedication and discipline…I have shown my hair since a lil girl, high school, and early twenties .It wasn’t always like this …. I learned how to manage my hair and now it’s at where it’s at. https://t.co/67HwVIiAWz

others chimed in to support:
Facts! Genetics don’t mean anything if you’re not consistent and able to stay focused. Takes a lot of effort to learn what works for your own hair.

We agree!
While genetics does play a huge role in hair growth, Cardi has been at this for a while.
Her last update was 2020 and her hair was bra strap length, now, two years later she is at waist length.
