Ciara is getting ready to celebrate her debut album, Goodie’s 20th anniversary.
However, according to Rated RNB, the singer omitted one song from the original tracklist: her collabo with R Kelly, “Next To You.”
Although the incarcerated singer minimally contributes vocally to the record, he produced and wrote the song.
Ciara’s Goodies Was An Epic Album
The debut album featured the title song, “Goodies,” featuring Petey Pablo.
The hit song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks.
Other hits from the album include the ballad “And I,” Ooh” with Ludacris, and “1, 2, Step” with Missy Elliott.
The album was also a megahit, selling over 125,000 copies in its first week.
Ciara is now getting ready to hit the road with Missy Elliott on the Out Of This World Tour with Timbaland and Busta Rhymes.
Meanwhile, R Kelly is serving 30 years in jail after he was found guilty of nine counts of sex trafficking and racketeering.
