A few weeks ago we created a short gallery for Pop Smoke braids on Instagram and it had great engagement so we wanted to share a post here on the popular style.

Pop Smoke braids are a simple braid style inspired by the late rapper Pop Smoke. However, before they were called “Pop smoke Braids” they were known as tribal braids or jumbo feed in braids with a middle part.

There a ton of variations for this protective style so getting creative is easy, the most important thing is that signature center part that Pop Smoke wore.

For example, there is this version:

The braids can be thin or jumbo, short or super long – whatever floats your boat.

How To: Pop Smoke Braids

To achieve this style you will need hair (High-Temperature African Braiding Kanekalon Hair, Usually 5-6 packs can full a head), a rat tail comb, mousse, and edge tamer.
