Kenya Moore wants nothing but to have her marriage ‘gone with the wind.’
According to People, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, during the second part of the show’s reunion, revealed that she’s still legally married to her estranged husband Marc Daly despite having filed for divorce 16 months ago.
“It’s at a standstill, so until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to continue on.”
Kenya, who filed for divorce in May 2021 after almost four years of marriage, told Andy Cohen that the pending divorce isn’t stopping her from meeting new people.
“I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet,” she said, insisting that “group dating” means she’s been going on double dates with friends.
The actor, producer/director, and founder of kenyamoorehair then went on to say that she’s been feeling much lighter lately.
“I’m doing better in business than I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she said.
“People are like flooding me with, ‘Hey, my friend wants to meet you,’ guys reaching out. I just have that energy right now. I’m taking everybody’s man right now.”
This isn’t the first time Ms. Moore has expressed her frustrations with her divorce.
In May, Kenya – who has a three-year-old daughter with Daly, expressed her feelings concerning the standstill on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, saying the delay isn’t on her end.
“I feel like it’s been going on for years, too,” Moore said. “I want it to be over. The hold-up is on the other side.”
“Get me free! Get me free!” she said.
Kenya also explained her co-parenting situation with Daly, saying it’s still a work in progress – Ms. Moore lives in Atlanta while Marc resides in NYC.
“I’m hopeful that we will be able to get to a point where it’s very smooth and [there’s] definitely no issues with it,” she said. “We’re still working that roadmap out right now. But so far, so good.”
The third and final part of RHOA’s reunion airs Sunday (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
