One user said:
It’s the fact everyone thinks I have a problem with cleavage but I really have a problem with putting an 18-year-old in a lingerie show with grown ass people and a sexual abuser. I think y’all need to re-evaluate and realize 18-year-olds are children. She shouldn’t be in the show
and another said:
And I know Marsai wanted to do but it was up for the adults around her to say no given the show was full of GROWN ASS MEN and abuser. Or for Rihanna to not even ask.
Folks on Twitter are chatting about Marsai Martin's appearance in the Savage × Fenty fashion show.

Marsai said she was unaware of the comments but made it clear that opinions do not matter to her.
“Hmm, I don’t really don’t care to be completely honest,” she said.
“We just minding our young, rich, and Black business. To be honest, outside opinions don’t really matter to me when I know my path, and I know my opportunities and what I’m capable of.”
“I would never put myself in a position for failure or any exposure of any kind,” she continued.
“I’ve given nothing but grace in any of this, and I have amazing parents that are by my side always —protecting me always.”
“Like how people gonna feel when I grow and start having kids and get married and stuff?” Martin asked. “That’s just what happens.”
