Mo’Nique Hicks is speaking out again about unpaid royalties she is allegedly owed.
According to The Source she is openly addressing and dissecting the details of her recent legal battle.
She initiated a legal action against Paramount and CBS, citing unpaid royalties for her acclaimed sitcom ‘The Parkers.’
The breach-of-contract lawsuit contends that the defendants deliberately manipulated the show’s financial performance to “withhold millions that should have been rightfully paid” to Mo’Nique’s production company.
Now Mo’Nique is breaking down the numbers.
In a message shared on social media, Mo’nique and her husband allege that “The Parkers” cost $70 million to produce and made $700 million over the years, but she is being told the series is more than $1 billion in debt.
“Don’t pay us any more, but don’t pay us any less.”
