Is Nicki Minaj trying to set up the new Young Money Records?
She just might be.
Over the past decade, she has been one of the world’s most successful musicians:
- On Instagram, she is the most followed rapper
- Anaconda was the first solo female rap video to get 1 billion YouTube views
- She was the first female artist to get 100 entries on the Billboard 100
- She has sold over 100 million records worldwide
It only makes sense for her to start her own record label with such immense success.
During an interview with Joe Budden, Nicki revealed that she will start her record label and management company.
She has already signed some artists that she plans to start with.
However, she will only reveal more details when her next album’s release date is close.
Since she has not revealed when she will release her next album, we cannot even speculate.
The Blueprint

Nicki Minaj knows that many fellow female rappers see her as the blueprint.
Her pink wig has especially become iconic with time.
When she was starting out, no female rapper would wear pink hair.
Now, though, virtually every female rapper will wear it at some point.
Queen Radio Returns

A new record label is not the only thing to look forward to.
On March 8, we learned that Queen Radio will make its comeback.
However, it will not be on the same platform.
Instead, the show will appear on Amazon’s new app, Amp.
Amp is a platform that allows users to make a live radio show to take live callers and play music.
Amazon is teaming up with Nicki Minaj and other artists like Big Boi, Pusha T, Lil Yachty, and Tinashe.
Nicki expects her first show to come on April 8.
