Pete Davidson came out swinging in his new Netflix comedy special using Kanye West in portions of his set.
In once instance according to The Daily Mail he compared Kanye West to Mrs. Doubtfire making light of the custody drama between his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband.
Earlier this year, Kanye, 44, made a string of accusations that Kim, 41, was preventing him from having full access to their four children; North, sight, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three.
In a move that is sure to enrage the rapper, SNL funnyman Pete, 28, devotes a segment in Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival where he admits to ‘secretly hoping’ that Kim’s ex-husband ‘pulls a Mrs. Doubtfire.’
‘Does anyone else secretly hope that, like, Kanye pulls like a Mrs. Doubtfire?’ Pete tells the laughing crowd in a clip that was released Friday.
‘I come home one day and they’re like, this is the new housekeeper. And he’s like, “What’s up fam?”
The joke is relation to the 1993 family comedy that sees Robin Williams playing a recently divorced man who dresses up as a female housekeeper in order to spend time with his children.
Pete devoted a whole segment to this time in his special, which is believed to have been recorded in late April, where he reveals he turned to friends for advice during the rocky time.
‘Yeah it’s a really weird thing to go through. Like… there’s… because, you know, people try to give you advice, but even friends that are, like, older, they’re like, I don’t know,’ Pete jokes.
‘They’re like he looks pretty mad bro. I hope… Good luck. Sorry. Here if you need, but like, no advice.
No one was like, this is what you do.’
It was previously revealed that during the first night of the festival at The Hollywood Bowl, Pete opened his set addressing how Kanye had spread a rumor he had AIDS.
He joked that he was convinced by the claims because Kanye ‘is a genius.’
The comedian also noted how surreal it was to be humiliated by the hitmaker when he did have way to stop the online abuse.
Kanye’s social media tirades about him seemed to have traumatized Pete.
He recalled seeing a basketball game in December of last year while seated between Jon Stewart and Chris Rock.
Pete referred to that relatively calm period as the ‘before time.’
In addition to falsely claiming that Pete had AIDS, Kanye spread rumors that the comedian was gay and hooked on drugs, according to Page Six.
After a series of blistering posts insulting Pete earlier this year, Kanye largely went quiet on social media after he and Kim were declared legally single in March.
Sources told Page Six that the rapper told his ex that ‘he’s going away to get help.’
