Rocsi Diaz, Lance Gross, and Macy Gray star in ‘Dutch II: Angel’s Revenge’ and we had a chance to catch up with Rocsi and pick her brain about her new role in Dutch II.
The film is based on Teri Woods’ hit novel of the same name and is set three years after the first Dutch film.
What Is Dutch II About?
The film follows Dutch, a notorious gangster and the lead of the first film.
According to IMDb, in this sequel, his allies are freed from prison on a technicality.
So, Angel Rocsi’s character embarks on a mission to take back control of the streets while Zoom seeks salvation by trying to put right the wrongs they did.

Most of us know Rocsi Diaz from her work as a host on the music video countdown show “106 & Park” on BET but sis has an entire resume as a television personality, actress, and model.
Diaz also co-hosted the show “Entertainment Tonight” and worked as a correspondent on “The Daily 10” on E! Entertainment Television.

“The Last Letter” (2013) – Diaz had a supporting role in this drama film.
“Gang of Roses II: Next Generation” (2012) – She had a role as Maria.

The character Angel Alvarez is one of Dutch’s most trusted lieutenants so when we caught up with Rocsi recently we wanted to pick her brain about how Lance Gross impacted her new role as well as how she was able to navigate themes of ‘survival’ ‘loyalty’ and ‘territory battles’ playing Angel.
