In a post on Instagram Harpers Bazaar Vietnam announced that Saweetie is their last cover star for their 10th-anniversary series, and sis killed every single look.

The last cover in our 10th-anniversary series is dedicated to Saweetie, the American rapper, singer, and songwriter.
Her debut single “Icy Grl” immediately earned her an RIAA platinum certification. All of her recent singles making waves. “Tap In,” “Back to the Streets,” and “Best Friend” featuring Doja Cat.
When we talked about her love for music and acting, she said, “I’ve always loved music. Music and performing are two different things, so I’m slowly falling in love with the art of performing as well.”
She shared her business goals with the magazine stating:
“My goal is to create a solid business foundation, not just flashy media effects. I want to build a machine that works for decades. Maybe one day, my children and grandchildren will take over Icy’s business,”
She also shared a message for young girls
“Always be confident and self-respecting. Do what you are passionate about non-stop, wherever you are. That makes life so much more fun,” Saweetie shared.
“I doubted myself during my younger years. I always worry about what people think of me. Gradually, I don’t care about it anymore. That was when my mental health was much better,” Saweetie said.
As for her past self, Saweetie says, “Oh my God, that message is the art of ‘don’t care. I must be learning that too every day. Because no matter what you do, someone will speak out. Right now, I’m just focusing on what I love – music. Pure music, without any criticism”, Saweetie closed our conversation.
