Tennis legend Serena Williams and entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian recently unveiled the latest member of their family, Adira River Ohanian.
As the younger sibling to Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., Adira isn’t just stepping into her big sister’s shoes but also making waves in the sports world.
Serena and Alexis entered the sports ownership arena with a stake in the Los Angeles Golf Club to mark the inauguration of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s tech-driven golf league, TGL.
In an Instagram post on June 8, 2023, Alexis announced Olympia’s role as one of the golf clubs’s co-owners.
“Announcing my fellow co-owner of @wearelagc… @olympiaohanian! Olympia is the youngest owner in professional sports (@weareangelcity) and is now the youngest 2-team owner in professional sports. She’ll be joined by her future sibling.”
Serena Williams’ Daughters Are Making History
The recent announcement of baby Adira’s arrival was followed by a confirmation of her stake in The Los Angeles Golf Club.
Serena Williams and Alexis’ penchant for involving their children in business initiatives isn’t new.
Olympia previously grabbed headlines as the youngest professional sports owner after securing a stake in the women’s soccer team, Angel City FC.

In a statement to the National Women’s Soccer League, Alexis communicated his family’s fervent support for women’s sports.
“As someone who spends hours kicking around a football with my two-year-old daughter, I want her to have a front row seat to this revolution. I’m personally investing on behalf of my family because creating more opportunities in women’s sports is important to my wife and me, and we want to be a part of making a better future for our daughter.”
With Adira’s recent stake, the Ohanian sisters have made history as two of the youngest proprietors in professional sports.
