T-Boz isn’t just a musical legend and part of the iconic R&B group TLC.
She is also an entrepreneur, author, and survivor.
A Challenging Life
Since she was a teenager, the singer has suffered from sickle cell anemia; an incurable inherited illness that affects the immune system by attacking red blood cells.
Each year, one out of 365 Black people receive a sickle cell anemia diagnosis.
T-Boz, real name Tionne Watkins, has suffered from crippling pain and tried different methods to handle the symptoms.
After years of searching for a solution, the R&B legend finally found one: CBD.
The singer was initially apprehensive of CBD.
However, it soon proved to be the most effective way to manage the singer’s symptoms and alleviate her pain.
Watkins went to four successive tours without being crippled by illness, a first for the singer.
Introducing TLCBD
After Watkins found relief from CBD, she formed her CBD-based wellness line called TLCBD.
Founded in 2019, the singer realized how life-changing the CBD-rich extract she’d found was.
She wanted to share that relief with the world and teamed up with female experts in the health and CBD fields to create TLCBD.
The brand’s products are made from natural ingredients combined to enhance the synergies between botanicals and the cannabis plant’s naturally occurring compound.
Watkins’ vision for the wellness brand is to help people feel fantastic from the inside out.
T-Boz Uses It, Too
Watkins didn’t just make a product for others to use.
She also uses TLCBD daily, especially the Jump For Joy Pain Relief Balm, to soothe her inflamed joints.
Watkins uses the product three times daily and recommends it to everyone who might benefit.
The singer also donates some of the profits from TLCBD to the Sickle Cell Foundation Support Group.
T-Boz found relief from her chronic pain, and you can too, with her CBD product; she is not marketing her products only to make some quick cash.
