Tamar Braxton admitted in a now deleted statement that she will not allow anybody to hold her captive to her past, claiming to be hurt and surprised by her break up.
Her video came a day or so after her fiancé attorney Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson announced via Instagram stories that he broke up with the “Love and war” singer.
In her video she said:
“I’ve been doing a lot to work on my mental health and change who I used to be into who I am now,” ….“And I can’t help if people fall into that perception because it’s easy, and I get it. But I won’t let anybody hold me captive to my past and things I’ve overcome. Today, I am mentally healthy, and I’m happy,”.

After her statement dropped Tamar, hit the comments saying she was talking about her tour, implying the statement had nothing to do with Jeremy despite it’s timing.
As we reported Robinson claimed he “ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy and being a better person.”
He also said he was keeping the actual reasons that lead to his decision private and that he and Tamar will always be family.
