According to Hot 97, a woman on Tiktok hinted that she previously worked as an assistant for Teyana Taylor.
During that time she ‘experienced’ Iman Shumpert cheating on Teyana, which caused her to abuse “drugs” and leave her hospitalized.
The woman re-enacted the encounter via her TikTok and captioned it:
“November ’21: Me working as an assistant for…singer (female emoji) with TV show and two daughters. Her watching her husband on TV and him being showered with accolades for his performance (background is the show Dancing With The Stars).”
In her now-viral TikTok she wrote:
“Her having a mental breakdown: He ch**d on me again last week and everybody thinks he’s the good guy, I can’t handle this anymore”
“Me: Ok, try to calm down, everything’s going to be fine”
“The next couple days”
“Her acting eractic and having lots of ‘candy’ “
“Me: Are you ready for your concert tonight? You ok?”
“Her: “Yea, sure” and running to the bathroom”
“Minutes go by and…Me and team getting suspicious, Us breaking into bathroom and…her on the floor from too much ‘candy’ “
“Later in the hospital”
“28th of Nov: Us having to post on her Insta why concert had to be canceled and making it look like her body ‘shut down’ cause of exhaustion”
For context, we reported back in November that Teyana shared a picture of herself from her hospital bed apologizing to her fans for not making it to her last performance in Connecticut.
During that time she said her body shut down “my body actually low key betrayed me cause ah bitch was tryna get on that stage ? Y’all know I’m with the shits!”

Teyana Taylor responded to the video in a lengthy now-deleted post saying:
“The person who sent in this CAP a– TikTok story is a fool, the person who “re-enacted” this CAP a– story is a fool (she better have her court coin ready) but the people who believed the CAP a– story are the biggest fools smh.”
“NOBODY AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOBODY CAN MAKE PETUNIA OVERDOSE ON A DAMN THING. I’d kill @imanshumpert fine ass, put him in a nice suit and bury him my damn self before I EVER let him or ANYBODY to push me to do drugs or take myself out.”
“So LETS BE CLEAR she or whoever “sent this story in” ain’t spilling MY TEA cause ain’t mine to spill.”
