Tiffany Haddish Was Arrested After A Stand-Up Performance
The actress and comedian was arrested after she performed at the Laugh Factory.
“When I first started here, I was sitting at the tables eating, I was receiving a meal. Full circle, and I’m so glad to keep doing that.”
The Beverly Hills PD confirmed that cops arrested the 43-year-old after a DUI investigation–they found her slumped over the wheel of her car while its engine was still running.
Tiffany Haddish faces a misdemeanor DUI charge and was released in the afternoon, hours after her arrest.
Haddish revealed she had dozed off, and her Tesla self-parked, though it was on the street.
The comedian is still in good spirits, and she had kind words for the Beverly Hills Police Department for handling the situation professionally.
Haddish’s first DUI arrest was in January 2022.
She had fallen asleep in her car, and someone reported it to the cops.
Haddish woke up and drove home, but the police stopped her as she pulled into the residence.
She posted bond and was released from jail.
Later, Tiffany Haddish joked about the incident on Jimmy Fallon.
“I can say this, Jimmy: I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. And God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I wasn’t expecting it.”
