Diddy isn’t going to let personal issues affect his professional success, and he’s decided to step down as the Revolt Chairman temporarily.
According to TMZ, the billionaire decided last week to step aside so the accusations he’s received don’t affect the success of Revolt.
The brand is celebrating 10 years and thriving under Chief Brand Office Deon Graham and CEO Detavio Samuels.
However, Diddy isn’t involved in the day-to-day running of Revolt.
Diddy Has Faced Three Sexual Assault Lawsuits
Cassie first sued the rap mogul, accusing him of sexual assault, human trafficking and abuse.
He quickly settled.
Since Cassie came forward, two other women have sued the billionaire.
Joi Dickerson-Neal claims the rapper assaulted her on camera in 1991 when she was still a college student.
And an unidentified woman claims the hip-hop icon and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall raped her and her friends in 1990 or 1991.
Diddy’s representative addressed the lawsuits:
“The claims involving alleged misconduct against Mr. Combs from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute are all completely denied and rejected by him. He recognizes this as a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for accusers who will falsify the truth, without conscience or consequence, for financial benefit… The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited for improper purposes. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these unsubstantiated allegations.”
