Tyrese Gibson’s new album, Beautiful Pain, might have caused him more harm than good.
According to Complex, the actor-singer revealed he had broken up with beau Zelie Timothy after two years because she apparently got tired of his songs about his ex.
Gibson uploaded a video sharing the news.
“Now that we got that out the way, my lawyers, my managers, everybody’s pissed. I released my double album today, but it’s only available for ten hours. 50 Cent, Katt Williams, Kanye [West], forgive me, I used you for clickbait. Watch the trailer.”
His post then changed into a trailer for the album, featuring a montage of his wedding and behind-the-scenes footage of the recording.

The Instagram caption was nothing like Tyrese Gibson’s four-part documentary.

Gibson had been dating Timothy on and off since 2021.
He shares a 4-year-old daughter with Samantha Lee, while 16-year-old Shayla Somer Gibson is from a previous relationship.
