If you think you can’t get creative with your locs and rock them with your braids or extensions, guurrll, you definitely haven’t met Chloe and Halle Bailey.
Since their entry into stardom (and even before that), the musically gifted goddesses always rock next-level loc styles, showing everyone that loc versatility is a realm you should consider mastering.
From artfully styled crowns to drop-dead gorgeous curls and spunky ponytails, here are some of the few times we’ve wanted to pin them to our #locstylesinspoboard.
On Their Instagram Posts
We’re starting off strong, and here, the locs trailblazers show us how to rock your dreads in color – yes, they don’t always have to be jet black or in derma-permanent berry rich or golden brown tips.
Chloe, thanks to her superstar hair stylist Fesa Nuza, ate the whole hair show with these luscious platinum faux locs – they’re giving us jaw-dropping, vintage Y2K style for sure!
Halle, on the other hand, made us want to empty our bank accounts trying to recreate this fendixversace campaign (curly updo) look. It’s giving #richbitch vibes all the way!
During the 2022 BET Awards
Like the Oscars and every other red carpet event, the superstar siblings stole the show during the 2022 BET awards. Chloe Bailey sported a sequined black gown with dark brown locs in a braided high pony.
The sultry, sophisticated look was elevated by David Velazquez’s classic, more winged, geometric smokey eye.
Halle rocked a Monot’s Pre-Fall black gown that featured a plunging corset top with a deep V-neckline and slightly pointed hem and paired it with several funky bracelets and bronzy makeup with a neutral lip.
She completed the chic look with waist-length, half-up half-down hair in waves.
On Magazine Covers
The rockstar duo wowed us on the cover of ‘BLANC’ magazine. Not only did they look like an entire meal, but the intricate design of their locs made this hairstyle look like pieces of world-class art!
On The VS Pink With Purpose Project Campaign
Halle Bailey pulled her locs into high, messy space buns (hello, Y2K), while Chloe went for a high, messy bun. They paired the look with some curly tendrils for a flawless, face-framing look.
Other Random ChloeXHalle Locs Style Inspos
Halle’s Goddess Locs – this take on goddess braids is just nothing but dazzling. The light brown curly pieces at the bottom give the hairdo an alluring almost-ombre look, while the silver hair accessories finish it off.
Chloe’s Classic ‘Big Hair Don’t Care’ Look – we’re not sure how this babe pulls this look with her locs, but it is definitely one for the books! It gives us Diana Ross 90’s hair vibes.
Halle’s Cutesy, Short & Sweet Locs – these short spiral coils are so effortless and drop-dead gorgeous on her for many reasons. For one, it’s versatile, lightweight, and perfect for your hot summer babe look!
Chloe’s Bubble Braids on the Beach – who said girls with locs can’t have fun? Chloe exudes perfection with these chunky beach braids. Now, we’ve seen the sexy goddess with big braids before, but she customized this look by not braiding it all the way to leave some curly sections at the end. It definitely deserves a spot on your #hairdoinspolist.
