Former NFL linebacker Kroy Biermann is in legal trouble over an alleged unpaid credit from a high-stakes gambling extravaganza.
According to TMZ, the 37-year-old ex-reality TV star received a lawsuit from Sky Warrior, the company handling credit lines at the Baha Mar Casino in the Bahamas.
The lawsuit claims that Biermann obtained a $100,000 line of credit for a gambling spree during a trip to the Bahamas in November 2021.
He allegedly used $52,500 for his gambling escapades.
Now, Sky Warrior alleges that despite assurances from Biermann that he had the funds in his account to cover his losses, he failed to repay the amount before leaving the casino.
To make matters worse, the lawsuit asserts that Biermann has yet to settle the outstanding tab.
Consequently, the company seeks the full $52,500 owed and additional interest and attorney fees.
Lady Luck may have abandoned Biermann this time.
Kroy Biermann’s Gambling Is Becoming A Serious Problem
Kroy Biermann’s gambling habits have also come up in the context of his highly publicized divorce from reality star Kim.
A resurfaced tweet from their daughter, Brielle Biermann, suggests that Kim had a penchant for late-night gambling sessions.
According to the tweet, 20-year-old Brielle waited in the car until 3 am while her mom hit the casino.
This recent legal trouble isn’t the first time Biermann’s gambling habits have made headlines.
Just a month ago, he claimed Kim has an online gambling problem, which allegedly wreaked havoc on their family’s finances.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ detailed the financial devastation caused by Kim’s alleged online gambling escapades.
As the legal battle unfolds, we don’t know how Kroy Biermann will navigate his way out of this sticky situation.
