Tiffany Haddish says she is ready to work on Girls Trip 2 despite the backlash she has received online.
She exclusively spoke with TMZ seemingly shocked that there’s a push to get her written out of the long-anticipated “Girls Trip” sequel — but she’s defiant, telling them there’s no way she’d miss it … no matter what Twitter haters think.
Tiff seemed genuinely surprised outside The Ivy Tuesday evening when she was asked what she thought about the instant backlash when it was announced last week “Girls Trip 2” was finally going to be made … and with the OG cast of Tiffany, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Regina Hall.
I will do anything with those women. I love everybody that worked on that — we had a blast. If they want to work with me, I want to work with them.
Haddish added that she would love to be back in the film. And also shared that her co-stars would “love it too,” as they talk about the film’s sequel every year.
When we shared the news about Girls Trip 2 on social media, you all were pretty vocal about still supporting the movie.
But they watch movies with WPL in them that have slept with their kids and foster kids but don’t want Tiff back the black sickness is real!!!!!! Make it make sense.
I’m supporting it.? Find something real to protest.
Yes,Yes,Yes Yeeeeeeeessss, I am soooooo excited I wish I could watch as they film it, then watch it three more times after it’s released…yes I am that FAN❤️❤️❤️
We supporting. The End.
And there were a few that said ‘get somebody else to do it’.
I’ll skip this one then
Won’t be supporting this one.
Opinions are clearly split, so we will see what the numbers look like when the movie comes out!
