After a year, Wendy Williams has resurfaced ahead of her upcoming Lifetime documentary.
According to The Sun, the TV talk show host stepped down in July 2021 during her show’s 12th season for ongoing legal and health battles.
The 59-year-old appeared in a new trailer revealing a two-night documentary event that will premiere on Lifetime later this month.

However, the video was deleted shortly after release.
In the clip, the star was filmed as her health declined over recent years.
Williams broke down in tears as she revealed that, towards the end of her show, she struggled with physical and mental illness.
“Since I was six years old, all I wanted was to be famous.”
What Will Wendy Williams’ Documentary Feature?

The documentary featured shots of the host on stage with an adoring audience.
It even included Williams when she got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The video then showed her in her current state.
The TV host discussed where she’s been and the drama she’s faced in her private life.
The documentary also featured quotes from Wendy Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
He revealed that Williams has “done a really good job at making it seem like everything’s OK.”
“But in reality, there’s something wrong going on.”
Further footage showed Williams in the back of a black vehicle, looking gaunt.
A producer asked her if she had seen a neurologist.
Her response was:
“To see if I’m crazy? Mhm.”
Other clips showed Wendy Williams needing assistance on set to even stand.
One of her male family members spoke up.
“She was put in front of a judge and given a guardian. That was when they took her away from us.”
The TV personality then sent fans a warning.
“I have no money. And let me tell you something, if it happens to me, it can happen to you.”
She then broke down in tears.
In another emotional scene, another family member asked Williams if she had drunk a whole bottle of vodka “today.”
She snapped at him to “keep the bottle there,” even though she was frail and lying in bed.
Wendy Williams’ son believes she’s “worked enough” though she plans to return to TV.
At one point, Williams admitted not knowing where she was, even though she had been in Manhattan–her home for several years.
Her family divulged that Williams is “losing memory.”

Wendy Williams’ two-part documentary will premiere on Lifetime on February 24 and 25.
