Brandy Norwood is an R&B icon who stole our hearts as the beloved character in the wholesome 1997 film, ‘Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.’
According to Billboard, the actress returns to our screens in the teaser for ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red.’
In the teaser, Brandy rocks a stunning, voluminous baby blue gown and matching overcoat.
The singer’s hair in a long, blue braid makes her look every inch like the regal princess we remember.

But Brandy’s not alone in this fairy tale reunion–joining her is co-star Paolo Montalban, who has traded in his Prince title for the upgraded role of King Charming.
The duo’s chemistry is as electric as ever, and fans of the original movie are sure to swoon at their on-screen reunion.
‘Descendants: The Rise of Red’ is no ordinary film, either.
Originally announced as a spin-off called The Pocketwatch, we still don’t have official word on whether any plot points have changed along with the new title.
However, with the actress at the helm, we’re sure this movie will be magical.
