Doja Cat is ready to embark on her next chapter, but not without ruffling feathers from her previous ones.
Moments before unveiling the title of her upcoming album, the star took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to throw shade at her highly successful past releases, Planet Her and Hot Pink.
Doja Cat Called Her Albums Shameless Money Grabs
planet her and hot pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it. now i can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop.

Both albums achieved impressive chart positions, landing in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
According to Billboard, the “Woman” artist took to Twitter again, this time to unveil the highly anticipated title of her fourth album.
its not called hEllMoUth either its called “First of All” and yes I’m announcing the album title right now.

Previously teased as “Hellmouth,” Doja revealed the real name: “First of All.”
Doja Cat Loves Misdirection
Now, we all know Doja is notorious for her playful misdirection when it comes to her upcoming projects.
For instance, she once claimed in a magazine interview that her next album would be inspired by 1990s German rave music.
However, shortly after the interview was published, she confessed on Twitter that she was pranking the outlet interviewing her.
Doja then tweeted several contradictory statements.
She claimed her album would encompass various genres, from rap and R&B to rock and even experimental jazz.
So, when it comes to Doja’s album-related announcements, it’s best to take them with a pinch of salt.
Twitter Reactions
Seeing that Doja cat tweet just pissed me off lmfaooo. Just when I started liking the bitch here she go with a dumb ass tweet. Like why do artists tell their fans what’s a cash grab and what is not. Frank ocean did the same thing with blonde and it pissed me off.

I’m happy Doja cat is making music and doing things she wants to do but her “cash grab” albums are so good and she should be proud of herself cause that’s good music

Doja Cat will forever be my favorite artist because she’s not afraid to try new things and be creative with her music. I know she said her newer albums were a cash grab so I’m looking forward to shit she finds meaningful

In other Doja news, the Grammy winner recently had a memorable night at this year’s Met Gala.
Sporting a prosthetic cat nose and ears in honor of the late designer Karl Lagerfeld’s pet kitty, Choupette, she left her mark on the red carpet.
Additionally, she revealed a new tattoo—a bat skeleton covering her entire upper back.
While Doja may not hold her past work in high regard, her recent accolades tell a different story.
On Tuesday, she was named pop songwriter of the year at the BMI Pop Awards for her contributions to songs like “Get Into It (Yuh),” “Woman,” “Need to Know,” and “You Right,” all of which were featured on Planet Her.
