Megan Thee Stallion has refuted the bombshell lawsuit against her from videographer Emilio Garcia.
According to PageSix, Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, is ready to take the case to court.
“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
What Did Emilio Garcia Accuse Megan Thee Stallion Of Doing?
Garcia accused the rapper of generating a toxic workplace environment.
He claimed that in June 2022, he had no choice but to witness Megan have sex with another woman while touring to Ibiza, Spain.
Garcia claimed that their vehicle was moving so he couldn’t escape.
“I felt uncomfortable. I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me.”
Garcia claimed that the alleged incident gave him “mounting anxiety, depression and physical distress.”
The videographer added that Megan Thee Stallion warned him not to snitch:
“Don’t ever discuss what you saw.”
He added that Megan and her team docked his pay to $4,000 for a “pay-per-task,” which was “significantly less” than what he earned before.
Garcia also accused Megan of fat-shaming him on the same trip, calling him a “fat bitch” and telling him to “spit [his] food out.”
“To hear someone who advocates about loving your body tell me these things, I felt degraded.”
Garcia lost his job as Megan Thee Stallion’s cameraman in June 2023.
He claimed the sacking was a “direct retaliation for his complaints about the ongoing illegal behavior and failure to pay him properly.”
