Natalia Bryant, Kobe Bryant’s eldest daughter, knows the weight of living up to her dad’s legacy.
However, the 21-year-old is forging her own life path and has her eyes set on becoming Hollywood’s next great director.
According to Town & Country, Natalia has been a natural storyteller her whole life.
In fact, when her parents tucked her into bed as a child, she told the bedtime story.
“My parents would ask me, ‘Do you have a story?’ And I’d say, ‘Oh, okay! There was this princess…’ I’ve always loved world-building.”
Natalia Bryant Is On Course To Fulfil Her Directing Dreams
Natalia is a USC third-year student who hopes to create “girlhood and coming-of-age stories.”
Natalia Bryant made a five-and-a-half-minute short film for her junior thesis.
The short follows fictional sisters whose parents are absent for their school graduation.
Although it’s not a personal story, Natalia delves into the unique bond sisters share.
“I told my mom, ‘It’s not about you guys, I swear!’ I got to thank her for being such a supportive parent.”
While the Bryant name has opened numerous doors for Natalia, she believes in working hard to realize her ambitions.
Last summer, she interned for Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment company and helped develop imagery for the Renaissance Tour.
“It was such an amazing experience. You can just talk to anybody in the office, and they’re amazing.”
Natalia Bryant isn’t limiting herself to directing, though.

She has her feet in both cinema and fashion.
“They’re both collaborative, and you meet so many different people. It makes the world feel smaller. What I’ve always loved about film is that it’s such a collaborative art form, and I view modeling the same way.”
